Krisaya believes that the power of making things by hand stimulates both the mind and life itself. While working on her ceramic projects through repetitive processes, she finds that engaging with new materials and techniques requires time for human muscle memory to adapt. This allows her to understand the physical body, as well as the mind and spirit, through a meditative process that serves as a metaphor for life. She sees the act of creation as fluid—like the rhythm of breathing.
